What Is WIN?

WIN is classified as a Political Action Committee by the Registry of Election Finance.

WIN operates as a bundling organization (similar to EMILY’s list and WISH at the national level) to provide a financial network for women running for public office.

WIN, a bi-partisan organization, endorses women only. WIN endorses in state and local races only (no federal or judicial races).

WIN Members have contributed more than $200,000 to women's campaigns.

WIN has endorsed over 70 candidates for public office.

Nearly two-thirds of WIN-endorsed candidates have been elected to office.

How Does WIN Work?

  1. Candidates submit applications for endorsement.
  2. WIN selection committee reviews applications and endorses candidates.
  3. Endorsements are published in “The WINning List,” a newsletter that is mailed to a statewide mailing list.
  4. Members choose to whom they send their money.
  5. Members write their checks directly to the candidate and then mail them to WIN.
  6. WIN bundles the checks and forwards them to the candidates.

Why Contribute Through WIN?
